When you go to Morocco, one of the things on your to do list is to visit a Moroccan hammam. Apparently you would be crazy to go to Morocco and not get one.
A hammam is a hot steam bath followed by a massage, but not as straight forward as it sounds. The end product of this however is that it leaves your body feeling amazing.
What if I told you a traditional Moroccan hammam could be experienced here in Lagos or Abuja at the B Natural Spa.
B Natural Spa is located in Abuja, Ikeja and V.I but the location this post is based on is the Ikeja branch. The Spa is said to be Nigeria’s first medical spa with US board certified staff. It also has a laser section for those who are interested.
I was in the area and decided that stopping by to take a look wasn’t a bad idea. I was pleasantly surprised by the set up and the minute you step in, you forget the hustle and bustle of Lagos life.
You can see when you step in that there was great attention to detail by the owner to ensure that it looked exactly like what she thought a world class spa should look like.
The staff are friendly and you can see that they have a lot of customers trooping in especially for the massages and spa treatment.
Pictures are generally not allowed in certain areas, but who can resist taking pictures of a place that is so well thought out.
The spa also includes gym facilities, a swimming pool, a salon, a store and even a beauty school for those who are interested in learning more about the beauty and pampering game.
Although it’s quite expensive, there is no doubt that after a day at B Natural Spa, your body thanks you for giving it a treat and taking time of to put off a lot of stress.
So if you’re looking for a tranquil sanctuary to just let lose and get pampered, or you can’t wait till you get to Morocco to experience their famous hammams just pop into B Natural Spa and see what they have to offer.
