Restaurant of The Week – Ocean Basket
Who can pass up an offer of amazing seafood? Definitely not me.
After a couple of strawberry daiquiris, heinekens and the seafood platters I wasn’t mad my brother chose Ocean Basket for his birthday celebration.
Ocean Basket is a South African restaurant chain which has made its way down to Lagos and positioned its self as the best sea food restaurant in town (if there are any decent ones around).
We already had a seating area upstairs waiting for our party and after we got seated, dinner was ready to start.
The great thing is there are different sitting areas. You could choose to sit outside, downstairs or upstairs. Whichever way tickles your fancy.
A couple of seafood platters, strawberry daiquiris and beers later, everyone was happy and chatting away.
I like how laid back and friendly it is. From paper place mats to wooden furniture; Ocean Basket has the perfect ambiance for a friendly meal.
The setting with the sea breeze drifting in further helps you to remember that Ocean Basket is all about the yummy seafood. The meals were tasty and came out time and even though my daiquiri was a little too sweet, I enjoyed it.
Are you a seafood lover and looking for a restaurant that focuses just on that? Then pay a visit to Ocean Basket and order something.
