Group Tour Etiquette | Dos and Don’ts

  1. Group trips can be very complicated to organize and attend. So kudos to Unravelling Nigeria for the great job you guys are doing. I’ve been on 3 tours and loved each and everyone of them.

Like you’ve rightly stated, it’s important for participants to come prepared, having the right expectations. And except something goes awfully wrong, there’s really no need to be a kill joy.

Be tolerant and have fun 😊

  2. Hahahahaha! I absolutely love this post. Yes the customer is always right but there is a limit to the bullshit one can take. People will not read emails then you hear complains like “oh you guys didn’t tell us the appropriate gear to bring”. Even if we didn’t it’s a hiking trip you know to bring your hiking gear. Sigh. People are oh so special

  3. The costumer is always right. I will wear my pajamas on trips if i want to 😠😡😯😑. Good read. Reading tour guide emails carefully is a must always loaded with pertinent info.

  4. Well said Lola. I applaud you for putting up withe some crazy customer demands. It can be pretty annoying. I guess that’s why I never dabble into planning group trips.
