  1. I enjoyed reading this write-up; and your pictures are lovely. There seems to be more animals in the zoo than when I visited. I visited the zoo on my trip to Kwara state in 2016 but let’s say I have more memory than pictures to show for it. Hahahaha….some of the drawbacks of solo travelling. It is a struggle something!.

  2. The zoo was good as far as Nigerian zoos go but I felt so bad for the birds and the leopard. They were put in such tiny cages, it was hard to look at them. And I also don’t understand the point of charging for cameras at tourist attractions. I mean they are attractions, of course people would come with cameras.

  3. The zoo is a new. It is less than 7 to 8 years so it would take a longtime to blossom. Also i guess the main person that pushed for it was Oloyede and since his exit as the VC things seem to have taken a bit of downward spiral. But lovely picturees you got. You didn’t see the ostrich that mimics you while you dance with her?

    1. That makes sense. It’s still young so I’m sure with time it’ll get better. But the VC also needs to be interested.
No ooo, I didn’t see her, that would have been really nice to see.
Thank you so much for reading, glad you like the pictures too. 🙂

  4. No, the zoo isn’t new at all, it’s been there for decades. It used to be called Biological or Zoological garden. I know it’s be there for nothing less than 30 years.
