      I think with regards to the white wedding question, it’s down to individuals. I often hear that for some Igbo people, the traditional wedding is the most important and they are deemed officially married after that, I guess they don’t see the rush for the white wedding for those who do that.

  1. Thank you Unravelling Nigeria! I’m Igbo and this was very enlightening for me to read as I’m not very familiar with what the wedding rites should be. All these plenty meetings and outings! Just makes me nervous. haha. Anyway, let me forward this to my love and hope he doesn’t run away!
